Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026. This is a starting draft for BluRepo to finalize with counsel.
What BluRepo is
BluRepo provides a consumer interface, account system, organization, billing, and retrieval workflow for long-term file storage. Files are stored on Amazon Web Services (S3) infrastructure. BluRepo is a home for files you want to keep for the long term; it is not a real-time sync or collaboration drive.
Preservation, not a perpetual guarantee
We aim to preserve your files for the long term, but we do not promise literal, unconditional, perpetual storage. Account status, billing, customer-requested deletion, lawful takedown requests, and service changes are governed by these Terms.
Your files
You retain ownership of everything you upload. You are responsible for having the rights to store your files and for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. All objects are private by default and are never made publicly accessible by BluRepo.
Storage tiers & retrieval
Archived tiers (Archive, Deep Archive) require a retrieval request before download and may take time to restore. Some storage classes carry minimum storage durations set by AWS; deleting or changing a tier early may incur charges once billing is enabled.
Acceptable use
You may store any file type except content that is illegal or that violates the rights of others. We may suspend accounts or remove content to comply with the law or to protect the service.
Billing
Pricing is shown in your account when billing is enabled. Storage, retrieval, and transfer may be metered. Charges, minimums, and any included allowances are described at the point of sale.
